Baby Tomasov

After Evan got off of the train, we took him on the little carousel. He did great at first, but he was screaming by the end of it! His mommy was getting dizzy, so he could have been too. He was fine as soon as it stopped.

Evan went on his first train ride this weekend! He was a little restless while we were waiting for it to start moving, but once it was moving he had a great time. He got a little scared when the train whistle blew, but overall he loved it.

Evan loves to go to Home Depot with us, especially now that he is big enough to drive the race car shopping cart! He will usually turns the steering wheels and help me drive. Here he is!

We finally got the pool set up in the backyard and Evan is loving it! He loves to float around in his floaty and play with his toys. Here are a few pictures!

At swim lessons there were these floating weights that  the women used in their aquacise class. Evan loved them and practiced his weight lifting with them. :-)

Evan is just about done with his summer swim lessons. There is one more session this week, but we are not sure if we will make it or not. He learned how to paddle, float on his back,and jump in (all with help of course!) Here are a few pictures from last week.

It is so hard to believe that Evan is 11 months old already! He has changed so much lately. He is walking all over the place, making all kinds of noises, is so curious about everything, and of course is getting into lots of trouble. Here he is posing for his 11 month picture!  (We have about 20 shots of him because he wasn’t being very cooperative when we tried to take his picture!)

One of Evan’s favorite foods is blueberries! I am so paranoid that he is going to choke, so for a while I was cutting each blueberry into quarters before feeding it to him (Matt thought this was pretty funny!) Evan is getting much better at chewing his food so now he can eat blueberries whole :-) They are definitely a messy food, but as long as he is eating I can’t complain!

Evan is officially walking now! It is amazing how much better he is doing in just the past few days. He now prefers to walk instead of crawl. He walks all over the house (and gets into all kinds of trouble!). He still stumbles sometimes, but he is doing so well.  He still likes to hold onto one of our fingers sometimes, but it is usually if we are walking somewhere other than the house. Here he is walking with his daddy at the restaurant last week.

I just thought that this picture was cute :-)
