Baby Tomasov

Well we are officially 39 weeks today. I am hoping that this is the last belly picture! Matt wants to do an “after the baby is born” belly picture, but I told him we will have to see about that one! Nothing new to report. I am taking it one day at a time now. I am more than ready for him to come, so any time he wants to come out and meet us would be fine with me! Matt and I wake up every morning hoping that we dont make it through the day at work, but no such luck yet. We will keep you posted!

The nursery is finished and all ready for Baby Evan! We have finished hanging up all of the decorations and setting up the changing table. His clothes are all washed and hanging in the closet and armoire. I think at this point we are as ready as we can be!

We are just about 38 weeks along and had our latest appointment with the baby doctor today. Everything is still going well. Jenny’s blood pressure and weight are good and baby Evan’s heartbeat is as strong as ever.  At this point, we are hoping to have at most one more appointment with the doctor. If we have 2 more, that means we are past our due date (Jenny is really hoping that doesn’t happen!)

Sorry it has been so long since we have posted an update. We have been pretty busy the past couple of weeks. We made a trip home to NY at the end of July for a wedding and 2 baby showers. Jenny’s sister also threw her a baby shower here in PA the second week of August. We are very lucky to have such amazing friends and family! We greatly appreciate everyone who came to visit us at the showers and the many wonderful gifts that we received.  Baby Evan is a spoiled baby already, and he isn’t even here yet! We have everything that we need (or at least anticipate that we will need) for baby Evan. We have been busy finishing decorating the nursery and getting things in the house ready for his arrival.  Once again a big THANK YOU to everyone! We really appreciate your kindness and generosity!!!

We are officially “Full Term” as of today.  Which means he’s ready to come out whenever he wants to.  (Mom would love for him to come out sooner rather than later!)  We had our baby doctor appointment yesterday, and she told us that he has “dropped”, which means he’s in position to be born!  Not long now…
