Baby Tomasov

Evan finally got in two more teeth! His top two front teeth finally broke through early this week. He had a very rough weekend last weekend so we knew something was going on. They are still coming in so we don’t have any good pictures yet. I will post them when we get some. He is working on two more teeth on the bottom too!  He’ll be gobbling up a cheesesteak in no time! :-)  He has started to try a little bit of table food. He likes mashed potatoes, yogurt, and applesauce. We have to take it slow though until he gets more teeth!

We took Evan to the zoo for the first time today and had a great day! We met up with my sister and her family and my mom in Baltimore for the day.   Evan really liked to petting zoo where he got to pet some  goats! (We washed our hands really good after that one!) He also liked going through the cave and touching the mammoth bones!  We also got to see a cheetah up close and he liked that too.  Unfortunately he was really tired, so he fell asleep when we went to see the monkeys, giraffes, penguins, and elephants. Enjoy the crazy pictures! Nothing like trying to get 5 kids under the age of 7 to pose for a picture! :-) In the bottom picture they are all sitting in a bird nest.

Evan likes to sit on my lap when I am at my computer. He is always trying to  type on my keyboard and on Matt’s lap top. I decided to let him send everyone a message. Enjoy!

Evan really loves to be outside! He likes to play around in his exersaucer while mommy and daddy do yard work.  He also loves to watch Bosco run around and bark at the birds. We have a gazebo set up on our deck so he can be outside with us, but out of the sun. It worked out really well this past Sunday when we were outside almost all day!

Evan turned 8 months old on may 7th! (Sorry I am a little late in posting this! I was out of town most of last week.) His hair looks really red in this picture, but it must be because of the lighting. His hair is really blonde!

I’m sure he is just enjoying yelling ‘da’ over and over, but when he does it he yells it over and over so it sounds like “Dad Dad Dad”.  I caught him saying it a little.

Evan is finally starting to put on some weight! Look at his big belly and fat rolls on his legs! He is almost 8 months old and is finally wearing 6-9 months clothes!  And yes….he is still happy as can be!!!

I pulled out Evan’s activity table tonight since he has been wanting to stand. He loved it! He stood there and played for 20 minutes and then his legs got tired! He is getting to be so big!

Evan’s latest trick is that he can now pull himself up to a standing position! He did it once at day care on Friday and then several times this weekend. He loves to stand by the coffee table and try to get daddy’s laptop or the remote!

Evan is going to be just like his daddy!! I went out wtih the girls for one night and this is what I came home to. Matt had Evan sitting with him and Evan loved playing with his daddy’s laptop! Look how happy he is! I am in trouble!
