So Evan is finally starting to get a little chunky. As you can see in some of the pictures, he is getting a little chubby in the face, arms, hands, and legs. It’s about time he starts to put a little meat on his bones! He is eating about 24-28 ounces a day now, which is down from the 36 that he was doing about a month ago. However, he also has cereal both in the morning and at night and he has vegetables for lunch and dinner. So far he likes sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, and green beans. I am going to try the peas mixed with carrots to see if he likes them better mixed with something. If not, then I am giving up on the peas! He is also going to start on some fruit this week, since he has been doing great with the veggies.
Evan really likes to make “raspberries” with his mouth. This is adorable most of the time. However, he has discovered that his favorite time to make rasperries is as soon as mommy puts veggies in his mouth. Therefore, I have been covered in veggies on more than one occasion. I have joked about wearing a rain poncho while I feed him! Matt thought this was the funniest thing, until he got to feed Evan the veggies and see what it was like! There’s a reason why he doesnt get fruit or veggies before I go to work!
